Erin Laabs, English Instructor at from Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, shares her experience …
I use the EasyBib Add-on for Docs with my sophomore Composition & Literature courses instead of requiring them to create their Works Cited pages “from scratch.” Rather than burdening the students with the cumbersome details of Works Cited pages, most of their entries can be done through this add-on, eliminating much of the stress of putting this page together, while also allowing the students to spend more of their valuable time on actually writing their essays. The add-on is not entirely accurate when it gathers information from websites and cannot always find the correct edition of the book being indicated, but it certainly works well most of the time, which also helps the students do their parenthetical citations correctly. It’s a very useful app – I look forward to continuing to use it in the years to come!
As an added bonus, Erin shared the documentation she created for other KML staff members on using EasyBib – How to add and use the EasyBib Add-on [PDF]
